About Trenton Santa Train
Trenton Santa Train Corp is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping children and families in Dade County, Georgia, through Christmas assistance, food, school supplies, and practical family support.
Our mission
Our mission is to help local children and families facing financial hardship and other needs. Rooted in faith and compassion, our work brings together people who can offer their time, resources, and support so families have somewhere to turn for help.
Christmas remains an important part of our work, but our programs continue beyond the holiday season. We provide monthly food and bread assistance, emergency food boxes, Thanksgiving meal assistance, school supplies, and family support and community resource services.
We serve families throughout Dade County, Georgia. Our Christmas assistance program also accepts applications from Higdon and Bryant, Alabama, for children newborn through age 13. Families can contact us to discuss the assistance they are looking for and the next step.

Trenton Santa Train began in 2020 as a small effort to help local children experience Christmas. With help from donors and volunteers, that effort grew into an organization supporting children, parents, grandparents, and other caregivers in our community.
In 2025, our Christmas program served 246 children from 117 families. Those figures describe last year's Christmas distribution. Our current work includes preparing for the December 23, 2026 distribution and continuing our other charitable programs.
Volunteers, businesses, churches, and community partners help collect and organize donations and prepare supplies for families. Financial gifts help us purchase needed items and fill gaps in donated supplies.
A permanent home for family support
We continue to serve families while working from shipping containers. Our planned Trenton Santa Train Community Resource & Family Support Center Project would provide a permanent home for programs, supplies, and connections to community resources.
We have identified a potential property and are raising support for the project. The property has not yet been secured. Food distribution, family essentials, meeting space, and continued Christmas and school supply assistance are part of our plans for the center.
